S.O.S. {Saturday Organization Series}

I must have a thing with acronyms lately. Lol.

No, seriously.

On Monday, I introduced my new series for M.O.M. {Make Over Mondays} -Breathing new life into old things. I am super excited about it and am constantly having new ideas pop into my mind as I gaze about my home.  A new perspective can certainly be a game changer.  Things you would have thrown out without batting an eye are now being gussied up and reinvented into lovely treasures.

Here’s a new weekend series for you.  It’s one that I’ve been thinking about since last October. It will begin next Friday, February 1st, so get ready.  We are going to move mountains-literally in some cases.

It’s called S.O.S. {Saturday Organization Series} -Help me, I’m a mess! Yes, my love for acronyms continues.  I can’t help myself.

We are going to journey through our home this year and organize and simplify areas that are in utter chaos. You know, the areas where you can’t help but be ever so grateful that there is a door…the very one you are leaning against as you whisper a quiet word of thanks to the genius contractor that built your home.  You can now go and open the front door with a level of confidence as you welcome guests into your seemingly clean home.

Ever been there?

I know that I have. Many times, I’m afraid.

There have been times when I’ve quick tossed all of the clutter down our hallway out of the line of sight of our front door or better yet, heaved it all into our bedroom and locked the door.  Yes, I lock the door. Locking the door is necessary to hiding clutter in our bedroom.  Tiny tots simply have no idea about messiness rules and will leave the tell-tale door wide open after retrieving a book or random toy from the chaotic jumble. I mean really?  It had to be that toy, huh?!

So lock it, I must.

I’m hoping that this series will not only remedy organization and clutter but that it will instill  and encourage better habits of tidiness in the entire family -myself included.

My goal is to share what I have organized in my home from the previous Saturday on Friday just in time for you to try on Saturday if you are interested in participating in the tackling clutter marathon.  Make sense?

Now I can’t wait to get started. MOM and SOS are my new BFFs.

Oops, there I go again.

I’ll stop.  TTYL.

Now I’m done. {ROFL}

:)

Have a great weekend.
